Ceylon Fisheries Corporation ( CFC ) has started their new Sales out let at Attidiya this morning next to Attidiya Co Op city . This may help great convenience to the public. Though , Several Fish sales centres available in this area , those customers visited to our outlet were highly impressed about the Fresh Fish , No: of fish varieties , Health Friendly storage & display , lowest prices in the town & above all friendly customer service they experienced .
Daham Pussella - GM , Duminda Munasinghe – DGM ( MKT ) , participated at the auspicious opening .
COLOMBO SEA FOOD FESTIVAL jointly organized by the Ministry Of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources Development and National Aquatic Resources Research & Development Agency ( NARA ) will be held from December O8 , O9 & 1O at Open Air Theatre , Viharamahadevi Park , Green Path , Colombo O7 , Sri Lanka .
All the stake holders coming under the umbrella of Ministry as well as lot of commercial establishments are taking part to the event.
- We, CFC is also having 2 extra-large stalls of 2O ‘ X 2O ‘ will be locating in Educational Zone & Commercial Zone .
- In the Educational Stall, CFC may display the major Fish varieties harvested in the island Ocean all over in different seasons from North to South, East to West.
- Our Experts may educate the audience about How to find Fresh Fish, Economical importance of Fish, Nutritional Value & How to differentiate a closer looking fish.
- A huge Map showing where CFC regions are located & where our CFC outlets are available in the country.
- Further, we may educate the public about what the process of making Sea Frozen / Land Frozen.
- We have made arrangements to demonstrate the way how to produce Fish Fillet.
- You may see lot of Fish varieties of Sea Water Fish & inland Fish ( Fresh Water Fish )
In the Commercial area, Our Vacuum Packed Frozen Fish & Wet Fish Packets are on Special rates

Ceylon Fisheries Corporation, under the new management will open 30 stalls island wide this year, and that it hopes to earn a target income of Rs. 500 million within this year.
