Marketing Regions
The function of the marketing regions are distribute and selling fish at all the retail outlets within the respective regions to consumers at market competitive prices. There are approximately 105 retail sales outlets and wholesale marketing centers coming directly under the control of the Corporation management.
Production Regions
The function of these regions is to purchase and supply the requirement of the marketing regions according to consumer demand.
State Supply Division
According to the Cabinet decision CFC provide fishing products to government hospitals. In addition to that CFC also supplies fish to other State Institutions.
Purchasing, Sales and Distribution Division
The main function of this division is to purchase fish from the local suppliers and issue them to both the Corporation regions and the Private trade on a wholesale basis while maintaining the buffer stock. The main source of income to the corporation is derived from the work of this division.
Product Marketing and Sales Promotional Division
The function of this division is to make available quantities of frozen fish, cut and packeted from the Cold Room stocks for sale to the consumer through the Corporation retail outlets, Lanka Sathosa outlets, Co-op Cities and Cargills food cities.
Minneriya Filleted Fish Project
The function of this project is to make available quantities of frozen fish, cut and packeted from the Cold Room stocks for sale to the consumer through the corporation retails outlets, Lak Sathosa outlets, Co-op Cities and Hotels.
